Graduations hold great significance at Family Martial Arts Centres and take place every two months. Tigers from all our centres across the North West gather at a single venue to celebrate this milestone, cheered on by their friends and family. These events are a wonderful opportunity to showcase the skills students have been developing in class over the past few months. During the ceremony, students are awarded their next coloured belt and certificate, marking their progression through the ranks of martial arts.
For our younger students, graduations are not a test but rather a chance for reward and recognition. In our programs, students don’t need to master every skill to advance, as earning a new belt helps build their confidence and motivation. As students move up the ranking structure, graduations evolve into more formal 'gradings', which include testing.
These events are typically held on Saturdays at Bury Grammar School for Boys, Tenterden Street, Bury BL9 0HN. Alternative dates may be arranged for students unable to attend on Saturdays due to religious or cultural reasons.
